This week’s Inspiration Challenge was to find inspiration at Blumenthal Lansing. Since I am into fabric buttons this week, I used this fabric button from their website as the inspiration for my card.
You Are Loved
I was thinking about my mom today so I made this card for her. This was such a fun card to make since I made it while on Skype with my favorite aunt this morning. I was showing her how the letter press plates work (white background impression on craft paper), which ultimately turned into this cute card for the SCS Inspiration Challenge (IC297). Did you notice that I used more of my favorite new handmade fabric buttons on this card too?!

Embellish Magazine Challenge
I finally had an opportunity to make some cards for a few challenges this week - so much fun! This first card I made was for the Embellish Magazine Challenge.
My favorite part of making this card was creating the cool pink fabric button for the card. I purchased an expensive button making kit from a big box craft store and fabric with small patterns and bright colors. Within minutes, I created lots of adorable little fabric buttons for my cards. Super easy and fun!
The challenge was to create a card, scrapbook layout, or altered item using the colors below and coloring.
